The general cost of living has increased which has had an impact on a number of areas. Raw materials like metals used for the cans in our wet food packaging are in short supply due to increased global demand, and freight costs have increased, impacting our imports of raw and packaging materials. Animal protein such as lamb and pork have also risen in price. 

Pricing updates for our customers are always a last resort, so we’ve been undertaking several cost-saving initiatives over the past 12 to 24 months to minimize impacts on our customers without compromising on quality.
